Ambulatory phlebectomy
Minor varicose veins can often be removed under local anaesthesia. Whilst this is a surgical procedure carried out in an operating theatre it is a walk-in, walk-out treatment, which normally allows recovery to normal day-to-day activities within a day or two.
The advantage of phlebectomy over sclerotherapy is that pigmentation and skin staining is minimised. This is especially helpful in treating larger tributaries and in cosmetically important areas!
To discuss this treatment please contact one of the clinics to arrange an appointment.
